Carlos Benaïm

Carlos Benaïm is considered one of America’s greatest living perfumers.  Born and raised in Morocco, Carlos trained as a chemical engineer before training at International Flavors & Fragrances in 1967.

With an incredible career that spans over 50 years, Carlos was named Master Perfumer in 2013 and has received multiple accolades including the Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Society of Perfumers in 2004 and the Perfumer of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award from the Fragrance Foundation in 2014.

Carlos Benaim is responsible for creating some of the most legendary and iconic perfumes such as Calvin Klein Eternity for men, Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds, and Ralph Lauren Polo.
