First and foremost House of Bo continues to lead the way with their lux yet sustainable packaging.I was drawn to the scent notes and had to do the early access, the shipping was crazy fast! The cap is so interesting and is slightly iridescent. The scent is surprising it doesn't have that House of Bo airy signature, it's a bit heavy. It opens strong with leather, charcoal and dragon blood, the praline and cacao are like a whisper, the whiskey and wood are present, the musk is pronounced. I can't find the orris. All in all this scent is smoky, leathery, musky and has a nuanced creamy praline sweetness. This isn't an edible gourmand this is more of an Oriental/amber blend. It is a sexy scent it just feels like its missing something, also the longevity is questionable because it becomes a skin scent very quickly. I also tried layered with Bombon which is a nice combo that pulled very caramel forward but a bit too sweet for me, I tried it with Espiritu which was nice and brought out floral notes before going full incense and tried it with Casa Blanca which I didn't love the opening but the drydown is so good. I also tried it with Infinitoud which is hands down the best combo it very sexy and complex. So long story short I am going to keep it because it layers well and also I believe this could be amazing in winter. It's not my favorite from the house but it has possibilities.
