      This creation is truly dreamy… Musky, creamy, and fluffy, “LA MAR” wraps me in a soft, elegant cloud.

      Gorgeous and Luxurious

      House of Bō La Mar is an absolutely stunning fragrance. I’d heard a lot about the House of Bō over the last couple of years but couldn’t justify the price on the fragrances. Luckily, this summer, House of Bō offered a free summer sampler set, and I was able to get my hands on it. La Mar was actually one that didn’t seem to excite me based off of the notes, so I was looking forward to others more than La Mar. La Mar ended up absolutely surprising me, and I then found that justification for buying myself a whole 75ml bottle. The gardenia, almond, and the coconut really stand out here, and the other notes are so subtle yet so important for having made this fragrance to perfection. I’d definitely have to say this is a sunscreen type of scent, but the type of sunscreen that the billionaires wear. This is pure luxury and beauty.

      Love the Perfume Hated the Purchase

      My review is twofold. I would give 5 stars for the perfume, but the purchase experience I had needs to be part of the review. I love this perfume. The scent is difficult to explain, but it’s wonderful and it sticks around all day on skin without being overwhelming, which is hard to find . I first experienced this through one of those websites where you pay monthly and get a small bottle of perfume. I wore it to Hawaii and knew I would need a full-size bottle. I ordered the bottle direct off the official House of Bo website. I purchased the 40 ml and also a 10 ml because I wanted a travel size. I received my bottle with a missing lid, beat-up packaging, and the product leaked out into the packaging. I immediately reached out to customer service with pictures. Their fix was to just send out a new lid. If I weren’t convinced they had sent me a used bottle of perfume, I wouldn’t be upset. I feel like I should have been allowed a return for a new product. This is not the experience I had hoped for. I love this scent enough to want to continue purchasing it, but I will not purchase directly again.
