Inspired by the moment Bernardo’s parents first met while on vacation in 1970s Mexico, Acapulco 76 captures the allure of a golden era of sun-drenched beaches and jet-set glamour.

This fragrance recreates the feeling of love at first sight: The opening feels electric and immediate, Neroli blossom extract and the bite of a green mango awaken the senses with a tart, mouthwatering tension. Then the bloom. Luminous yellow florals blossom into something radiant and intoxicating.

At its heart, Acapulco 76 becomes richer and more addictive. A nostalgic solar cream accord infused with apricot milk, evokes the feeling of salt-kissed skin.

Windows down, sun ahead, the dry down recalls the blissful feeling of driving into the sunset in a vintage car, where supple white leather seats and glowing solar musks come together in effortless harmony.

    Burst of creamy green mangos

    Acapulco76 is SO good, I’m actually blown away. Yes! It absolutely lives up to the hype… OMG, it’s gorgeously beautiful. This is what a creamy fruity-floral fragrance should smell like to me.

    I get this burst of creamy green mango and apricot, with beautiful ylang-ylang florals laced with cardamom. It’s juicy, creamy, floral, slightly spicy and just…so good

    Fantastic tropical everlasting candy

    This is beautiful, youthful, tropical, fun and flirty. Lasted days in my room after testing it. The bottles from the House of Bō are the most beautiful hand created bottles and this is no exception and matches the ylang fragrance and meaning. Calcite Trust Clarity. Deep Memories. Vitality.     Lingering love & Sepia scents

    Acapulco is toes in sand, sun on skin, drink in hand, love on the brain. Vintage meets contemporary flare. Treasuring this golden nugget in my collection

    It’s a No from me

    Unfortunately, Acapulco 76 was not a match for me. The ylang-ylang dominates the entire fragrance and gives it a very strong, almost overpowering floral character. I enjoy florals, but this felt too heavy and lacked the freshness and balance I was hoping for. Even after the fragrance fully dried down, I couldn’t detect any of the other notes — the ylang-ylang remained the main and only impression I experienced. A beautifully made fragrance, but definitely one to sample first if you’re sensitive to strong white florals.

    I wish I could return it, worst blind buy for me ever..
